Commercial beekeepers have flatbed trucks and forklifts. I have this pickup and this small utility trailer. In the fall of 2014 I shipped 28 colonies to Texas for the winter. I had to haul them to a beekeeper in southern Minnesota who hauled them to Texas for me. This photo was taken on a day when I was bringing the hives back and setting them in a yard south of St. Cloud.
